Introduction

Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) is now translated into eight languages and has three regional editions in English with new editions being added in 2008. David M. Khayat, Deputy Editor for International Editions, oversees this growing program. In this role, Dr. Khayat works with the local editors to ensure quality and consistency across international editions of JCO. Dr. Khayat, on behalf of the Journal, appoints a local Editor with input and recommendations from the ASCO International Affairs Committee. The Editor selects articles from recent editions of JCO that are most relevant to the professional needs and interests of local and regional oncology colleagues.
